Pancake Day 🥞
Children have been tasting pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, displaying skills of independence through making their own choices of pancake toppings, incorporating mathematical language of quantities and measurements. Also using tools for a purpose and distinguishing their own likes and dislikes, using their speech to name ingredients and highlight action words.
