The toddlers have been showing a particular interest in engaging in imaginative play, allowing them to make links to their own experiences. They have been playing shops, practising their decision making and social skills, experimenting with how to behave and make sense of the world around them. In addition to this, expanding their narrative thought as they can act out their story developing their cognitive skills. To further this interest, some of the children have been for a walk in the local community to visit the shops.
