We would like to encourage all parents/carers to access our book library with their children. By reading to your child, even before they are able to communicate verbally, you help to lay the neurological groundwork for effective language use and literacy. Reading aloud and sharing books with your child has significant benefits including; supporting cognitive development, improved language skills, increased concentration, improved imagination and creativity and cultivating a love of reading.
Our book library has a range of books for all of the children to access, along with nursery rhyme books and story sequencing cards.
Please feel free when dropping off/collecting your child to let a member of staff know that you would like to access the book library with your child.
