We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🙂
Thank you to all that have brought treats and lovely cards for the staff it is much appreciated. Please keep an eye out on Tapestry for some lovely Christmas activity ideas that you can enjoy with your child at home during the holidays, it would be great if you could share the end result with us. Your very welcome to add any other activities that you participate in during the Christmas break too, it is always lovely to see what the children are enjoying and achieving at home too.
Your child’s bag will be sent home with them on their last day before the Christmas break, we ask that bags are washed and replenished ready for returning in the New year. Please ensure that lunchboxes are plastic boxes that are easy to wipe, not fabric lunch bags or carrier bags (we advise that all lunchboxes contain a small sandwich bag to allow us to put all rubbish into this to avoid spillages/mess in your child’s lunchbox).
We would like to remind you to stay safe during the Christmas period but also enjoy time with family and loved ones. Should your child display any symptoms of illness or contract Coronavirus during this time can you please notify us immediately via the nursery email info@jackintheboxnuneaton.co.uk or the nursery mobile phone 07398182215 (please note that the mobile will only be checked upon every couple of days during the Christmas period). If yourself or your child come into contact with someone that has a positive result to Coronavirus, please ensure that you follow the Government guidance for self-isolation.
Please be mindful that Coronavirus symptoms in children may display as:
New continuous cough
Temperature
Loss of taste and smell
In addition to this, children may display flu like symptoms such as a cold, upset stomach and fatigue.
We look forward to welcoming you back in January 2021 and hope for a brighter year 🙂
Thanks for your continued support
