Menus

After half term we will be introducing new dinner menus. These will start from week beginning 10th June. If you would like a copy of the menu these can be found in the entrance hall.

Also after half term we will no longer be providing breakfast due to the limited amount of children requiring breakfast. Therefore, we ask that all children are given breakfast before coming to nursery. Please see the office if this is going to be problematic.

Absence

Please ensure that you inform nursery if your child is going to be absent. This may be due to a holiday, day trip or sickness. You can notify us via phone, text, whatsapp or email.

If your child has had sickness and/or diarrhea please ensure that they remain absent from the setting for 48 hours from their last bout of illness to ensure that this is not passed on to other children and staff.

Staffing

Shannon has made the decision to leave Jack in the box to spend more time at home with her family and looking after her daughter. We would like to wish Shannon all the best for the future J

Clare will be going on maternity leave at the end of July, ready for the arrival of her baby in August. She will be returning to work in 2020

Peter rabbit

We would like to encourage the children to take our nursery rabbit Peter home to care for. This can be for an evening or for over a weekend period. We will provide all food and equipment needed to care for him. If you would like to look after Peter please let us know.

Enjoying and achieving

Babies- have enjoyed splashing in the water tray, using different tools to encourage their fine motor skills of scooping.

Toddlers- have enjoyed using their senses to explore different textures. They have been playing with the playdough and using the sensory jars.

Preschool- have shown particular interest in growth and decay with a focus on plants. They have looked at the cycle of planting a seed and watching it grow, then exploring how over time this grows and decays. They have also gained knowledge about what is needed to help a plant grow.

We would like to thank you for your continued support.

Many thanks

Sam and Clare
