Christmas at Jack in the box
We enjoyed welcoming Santa to visit the children allowing them the opportunity to share their letters and wishes, they also visited the local postbox to send letters home. To celebrate Diwali the festival of light, children have been making marks to represent fireworks and creating their own tea lights.
To show our respect for remembrance, children were invited to wear something red to represent poppies. Toddlers decorated biscuits and created their own poppy pictures, preschool made a poppy field tuff tray for children to explore hiding and finding and planting.
It was lovely to invite parents and carers to our Halloween stay and play morning. Children participated in decorating biscuits, making lanterns, exploring using their senses, creating their own pumpkins and spiders and reciting the room on the broom story.
