The children have been talking about significant events and recognising/describing special times. They have all made some lovely poppy paintings that have been displayed around the nursery. Preschool children enjoyed a walk to the local church to place down a poppy wreath that they had made, and another wreath that they had made was placed in Riversley park, alongside other wreaths to remember the fallen. They also enjoyed marching around the nursery garden like soldiers and having some quiet time to think about their own significant experiences. "I'll wear a little poppy, as red as can be, to show that i remember those who fought for me".
